Based in Starkville and rooted deeply in Mississippi, our firm has served clients with professionalism and care since its founding in 2009 by John M. (“Mickey”) Montgomery, a longtime District Attorney and Circuit Judge. Over the years, our practice has earned the trust of families, lenders, and businesses across the area in chancery, civil, and real-estate matters.

In 2025, we expanded our services to include real-estate-secured transactions and a dedicated title division led by Chad D. Montgomery, J.D., M.B.A., and Closing Specialist Lisa Burgess. Together, they bring extensive experience in title examination, escrow procedures, curative work, and closing coordination across both residential and commercial portfolios.

As an authorized issuing agent for First American Title Insurance Company, our firm provides title insurance policies and Closing Protection Letters (CPLs) for residential and commercial properties, including complex and multi-parcel transactions.

We also offer foundational estate-planning services—including wills, powers of attorney, and related documents—designed to keep the process simple, clear, and free of complications.
